Agenda:
• 1) To discuss the presence of students during online classes and online examinations.
• 2) Role of parents during WhatsApp classes and online examinations as invigilator.
• 3) Roll of career counselling cell.
• 4) Planning for forth coming session, i.e. 2022-23. Page | 2
• 5) Admission process and features for 2022-23.
• 1. Reading the Minutes of the First Principal-Parents (PP) Meeting: The meeting started at scheduled time followed by which agenda and minutes of the meeting for the first PP have been shared with attendees of the said meeting.
• 2) Review of the online sessions, syllabus covered, assessments – process and challenges – Academic and Administrative.
• i) During the first meeting with parents of KG section-to-STD-X, the parents were delighted to appreciate the initiatives took by the Principal of the school during 2 nd year of COVID-19 period to continue online mode classes.
• ii) Some of the parents urged to include few more learning videos.
• iii) Some of the parents also appealed to have video calls to each student to be made by the respective subject teacher at least once week.
• iv) Few parents forwarded some suggestions such to include morning prayer for students before commencement of regular classes in online mode, some other parents urged to revise art classes and odia classes in easier and convenient manner for students. In the mean while few parents forwarded requests to include reasoning during Mathematics period.
• v) Amid all parent of a student requested to commence online mode teaching to KG section students from next academic session if at all the current COVID-19 restrictions are continued.
• vi) Parents also appreciated the school conducted online examination for the students.
• vii) Few parents made requests to make the EVS and Odia subject more interesting by including details supposedly to be made the subject teachers.
• viii) At the same time Principal Madam urged all parents to take care of their respective ward to maintain the mental and physical health hence forth.
• ix) In addition to the above parents have been assured by Principal to provide all necessary solutions to strengthen academic system of school.
• x) In her turn to address parents, Principal has enlightened regarding some key initiatives and features of upcoming academic session, i.e. 2022-23 and the same are as follows in brief:
• (a) School is going to introduce a regular career counselling session through Career Counselling Cell comprising teachers from our own school and expertise from other sources for students from Nursery to STD-XI to strengthen their mental and physical health, behavioural issues, future career planning session, parents counselling session etc.
• (b) School is committed to provide exposure to our students through live interaction with eminent and individual experts/ delegates of experts in different study fields, sports, life skills, research works, art and culture etc. by inviting them to our school once in every month regularly. • (c) As our school has been affiliated by CBSE, New Delhi up to XII, and school is introducing STD-XI(Science stream) from upcoming academic session i.e. 2022-23. Looking into the current trend and scenario, our school is going to impart, introduce and implement many effective strategies and plans to reshape the careers of our students, and one of those is to be introduced that is integrated coaching for different entrance examinations such as JEE, NEET, NISER, IISER, NDA etc inside our own school campus along with the general syllabus.
• (d) Free admission fee for siblings of our existing students.
• (e) Free admission fee for students of peripheral regions only within 2 kilometres from our school from Nursery to STD-IV.
• 3) Vote of Thanks: There being no other discussion, the meeting ended with the Principal thanking the members of parents group warmly for their participation and presence in the meeting. Principal while thanking the parent members assured them that they can always write to the school for any concerns/suggestions. She thanked the parent community for their continued trust during these trying times. She ended the meeting by reiterating that the learning journey has renewed herewith and the bond with the learners continue to grow with renewed enthusiasm each day. AAA, Khordha values each and every suggestion made by the parents, and the same was noted down. AAA, Khordha has started taking measures to urges made by the parent members and that will be reflected and seen soon during upcoming academic session 2022-23
